STRENGTH PROGRAMS AT THE INJURY CLINIC
Strength & Conditioning Programs can assist greatly improving your performance and preventing injury.
Regardless of whether you are a weekend-warrior, recreational lover of sport & exercise or an elite / sub-elite athlete; Strength & Conditioning Programs should be considered a hugely valuable part of your training.
The Injury Clinic is provides individual Strength & Conditioning Programs designed by our Qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach to assist you in achieving your goals.
We appreciate that we are all different, with different goals, aims, strengths and weaknesses. In consideration of this, we have deliberately avoided the model of a generic one-size fits all class environment to ensure that every client benefits as much as they can from their commitment to health and well-being.
Working with recreational to elite athletes, across a huge variety of sports, an individualised strength program can make a huge difference to our both our tolerance to training and performance.
You might have your eyes set on your first 5km, or a Marathon PB, all goals are equally important and strength programs are valuable for everyone!
STRENGTH PROGRAMS AT THE INJURY CLINIC: WHAT TO EXPECT
Initial S&C Consult: Ben will discuss with you your goals, aims, injury history etc. He will then start the process of developing an individual strength program that is specific to you and your goals.
You will spend time both discussing your goals etc. and in the gym to assist Ben in developing a program that best suits you.
Follow-Up Programming Consult: Following your initial consult, you will be required to book a review consult that allows your program to be completed in full under the guidance and supervision of Ben.
Following the design of your strength program, you will have the option of joining a membership at the clinic, or consulting with Ben for programming and completing your strength training at another gym. Please see below for more information regarding these two options.
