At The Injury Clinic Physiotherapy, our physios regularly see acute injuries, and use their clinical knowledge to accurately diagnose and make rehabilitation plans in collaboration with our patients to get them back doing the things they love as quickly as possible.
When we refer to an ‘acute injury’, this means an injury that is sustained suddenly and has a pronounced mechanism of injury, such as an ankle sprain, dislocated shoulder or calf tear. These injuries require different management plans compared to chronic injuries that are sustained over time or due to repetitive use.
