THE INJURY CLINIC PHYSIOTHERAPY CANCELLATION & NON-ATTENDANCE POLICY

We reserve your appointment time to ensure you get quality care and attention from your chosen practitioner. We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to an emergency, or obligations for work or family. 

However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, it may prevent another patient from receiving treatment. We are a busy clinic and run a wait list; failure to notify of a cancellation will prevent us from offering a consultation time to a client in need.

A late cancellation or failure to notify us of a cancellation may incur a fee which will be reflected at your next consultation.

Please call our friendly administration staff to discuss cancelling and rescheduling of your appointment at your earliest possible convenience.

 

CANCELLATIONS

Our cancellation policy will come into effect if you fail to notify us of a cancellation at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

  1. Should you fail to cancel your appointment at the clinic at least 12 hours prior to your appointment time, an SMS will be sent to you alerting you, and a link will be included in this message, leading you to our website and enabling you to review our cancellation policy.

  2. Should you fail to cancel your appointment at the clinic for a second time, a fee of $10 will be incurred and reflected in your consultation fee on your next visit to the clinic.

 

DID NOT ATTEND (DNA)

Our DNA policy will come into effect if you fail to present for your consultation.

  1. Should you fail to attend your consultation without notification, an SMS will be sent to you alerting you of your missed appointment A link will be included in this message, leading you to our website and enabling you to review our DNA policy.

  2. A fee of $10 will be incurred and reflected in your consultation fee on your next visit to the clinic.

 

PLEASE NOTE: We would prefer to not implement a cancellation or DNA fee! So if your reason for cancellation or non-attendance (and failure to notify us) has been unavoidable, please call our friendly administration staff to discuss the waiving of this fee. A quick phone call is very much appreciated by clinic staff, as well as a client who may be on our waitlist.
