UPDATE: 04.05.20 9:00am

The Injury Clinic is continuing to conduct video consultations where possible. Video consultations are currently available for physiotherapy, dietetics and strength & conditioning.

Face to face consults are still available, but in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 within the community, we believe that conducting video consults where possible, and limiting contact with clients, is the right thing to do for both clients and the team at The Injury Clinic.

Bookings for both face to face and video consultations can be made online, or via the phone.

Gym use at The Injury Clinic remains unavailable, with gym members instead having access to weekly online strength sessions, classes and consults.

We will continue to provide updates as the situation changes.

UPDATE: 27.04.20 7:00am

The Injury Clinic is continuing to offer predominantly video consultations. Video consultations are currently available for physiotherapy, dietetics and strength & conditioning.

Face to face consults are still available, but in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 within the community, we believe that transitioning to video consults where possible, and limiting contact with clients, is the right thing to do.

Clinicians will use their discretion to determine the situations in which face to face consults are appropriate. Please rest assured that if a face to face assessment or treatment is determined to be necessary in the management of your injury, it will be discussed with you, and arranged by your treating clinician. We will endeavour to offer the same, or next day appointments for acute presentations.

If you require a face to face consult, please discuss this with administration staff at the time of arranging your consult. Online bookings are currently available for Video Consultations only. You must call to arrange a face to face consult.

Gym use at The Injury Clinic is now unavailable, with gym members instead having access to weekly online strength sessions, classes and consults.

UPDATE: 31.03.20 11:30am

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, The Injury Clinic will be transitioning to offer predominantly video consultations. Video consultations will be available for physiotherapy, dietetics and strength & conditioning.

Our lives may be looking more and more different, but that doesn’t mean we won’t have niggles, won’t get injured or won’t be able to stay strong, fit and healthy. We are confident that whilst video consults will be different from face to face consults, we can still offer a valuable service that will make a difference to the health and wellbeing of our clients whilst not placing them, their families, or the team at The Injury Clinic at risk.

Face to face consults will still be available, but in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 within the community, we believe that transitioning to video consults where possible, and limiting contact with clients, is the right thing to do.

Clinicians will use their discretion to determine the situations in which face to face consults are appropriate. Please rest assured that if a face to face assessment or treatment is determined to be integral to the management of your injury, it will be discussed with you, and arranged by your treating clinician.

UPDATE: 25.03.20 9:30am

The Injury Clinic continues to operate as normal, however there will be changes to the use of the gym space at the clinic.

Current restrictions put in place by the Australian Government do not impact on the provision of physiotherapy services. We will continue to consult with respect for social distancing measures and emphasis on strict hygiene measures.

The use of the gym space at the clinic will be changing. Equipment is already placed a minimum of 1.7m apart, and the space allows us to adhere to number and size of space limitations (1 person per 4 sq m). We will however be capping numbers, this will be strictly enforced. An email will be sent to all clients that will be impacted by this today.

We will be offering video consultations at the request of clients starting Monday March 30th. As restrictions escalate, it is likely that all consults will be altered to be video consults. Stay tuned for more info.
