RECEPTIONIST (CASUAL)

 

POSITION DETAILS

The Injury Clinic is currently seeking a casual receptionist to join the team. Administrative staff at The Injury Clinic are integral in ensuring the clinic runs efficiently and effectively. They work closely with practitioners to ensure the clinic continues to offer a service that is both valued and well respected within the local community. 

 

HOURS

12* hours per week

*As this is a casual position, whilst we are currently looking to fill a position with 12 hours available, there are often weeks that extra coverage is needed, so hours fluctuate and total monthly hours are often greater than 12 per week.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Opening and closing clinic
  • Greeting clients
  • Answering phone
  • Schedule management & appointment booking
  • Client payments (& 3rd party invoicing)
  • Liaison with clinic staff
  • Website & Social Media monitoring, planning and execution
  • Response to email enquiries
  • Adherence to clinic policies and procedures
  • Additional tasks as directed

     

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience is not essential, all candidates will be considered.

 

The successful candidate must:

  • Be responsible & trustworthy
  • Be reliable and able to commit to the position
  • Show respect to clients and staff
  • Demonstrate initiative
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be willing to work as part of a team
  • Have adequate computer skills
  • Have a knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
  • Be receptive to feedback

 

Not essential, but advantageous:

  • Due to the nature of admin rostering, some flexibility in weekly availability is helpful
