Osgood-Schlatters is a common condition that often occurs in children and adolescents and results in knee pain. Pain is usually experienced at the front of the knee around the insertion of the patella tendon. The pain is caused by irritation of the tibial tuberosity, which is where the patellar tendon attaches onto the tibia.
