Physiotherapy Bike Fit Geelong

PHYSIOTHERAPY BIKE FIT

AT THE INJURY CLINIC

Our experienced team of physiotherapists at The Injury Clinic work closely with both triathletes and cyclists. Our physiotherapist, Harry, is a qualified Level 4 Bike Fitter. As a triathlete himself, he understands the importance of feeling both comfortable and powerful whilst on the bike.

We offer a professional physiotherapy bike fit service that considers both your physiology and bike mechanics. The bike fitting process requires a detailed understanding of the muscles and joints that each pedal stroke utilises; we adjust your bike to fit your body type and/or movement patterns.

Our physiotherapy bike fit service is centred around improving the efficiency and effectiveness of each pedal stroke. By doing so, a bike fit looks to mitigate the risk of cycling related injuries or offload certain tissues that may be irritated as a result of cycling mechanics.

GEELONG BIKE FIT SERVICE

There are two options for a bike fit at The Injury Clinic. Option 1 is best suited to those who already know that a bike fit is what they are looking for; Option 2 is best suited for those who may have a cycling-related or triathlon-related injury, but are unsure if a bike fit is required.

Video Analysis:

The bike fit is a collaborative process, we look to include your thoughts, opinions and feedback in our decision making. We utilise video footage and review together to ensure we can analyse your bike mechanics in great detail.

This enables your physiotherapist bike fitter to make specific adjustments to your bike setup that best suit you.

Following a bike fit consultation, you will receive a report within 48 hours summarising the bike fit process including pre/post footage review.
