Protein balls are a great afternoon pick me up or the perfect pre-training snack. These can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to one week.


  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 130g Cashews
  • 50g Shredded or desiccated coconut
  • 35g Vanilla protein powder
  • 35g Maple syrup
  • 50g Water


  • 1 Peel the zest of 1 lemon and place into a food processor. Blitz until fine.
  • 2 Add cashews, coconut, protein powder and maple syrup and blitz until combined.
  • 3 Add in water and blitz until combined.
  • 4 Roll into balls and roll in extra desiccated coconut.
  • 5 Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
