The Injury Clinic will be hosting a FREE workshop for the local Geelong running community on Saturday 23rd May 2026. This workshop is for anyone who is training for a half or full marathon.
Training programs are important to reduce injury and improve performance. However, they can be tricky to get right. Generic programs aren’t suitable for every runner, and making the right decisions when life gets in the way, or you’re programming yourself can be challenging.
This workshop hopes to provide you with evidence-based info that can guide your choices and help you adapt your program safely, and with best outcomes in mind.
Attendees will be able to bring in their own run program for our physiotherapists to review, discuss and suggest modifications based on the available evidence and their clinical expertise.
For those who don’t have a program, you will be able to build your own from scratch. Our aim is for you to leave the workshop with a program based on loading principles and your individual goals.
We’ll also kick off the morning with an optional group run prior to the workshop, so you can start the day with a jog and a chat with like minded people from the running community.
This will be a small group workshop and places will be limited, so make sure to contact us with the details below to secure your spot!
