Running Workshop

AT THE INJURY CLINIC

 

Have you taken up, or returned to running in the past year? Did you recently complete your first running event and are looking to improve your time? Or are you simply looking to start your running journey?

The Injury Clinic is hosting a FREE workshop to discuss running training and how to mitigate the risk of injuries. This workshop is designed for runners who are relatively new in their running journey or are returning to run after a break. 

You’ll walk away with a greater understanding of key concepts around:

  • Running training structure and load management
  • Recovery strategies
  • Managing running related injuries
  • Running technique considerations
  • Strength training and mobility for runners

We will kick off the morning with an optional group run prior to the workshop, so you can start the day with a jog and a chat with like minded people from the running community! We’ll also finish the workshop with a mobility routine specifically for runners taken by our strength and conditioning coach, Mason Spikers.

8:30am – Optional Group Run (30 mins at your own pace)

9:15am – 10:30am Workshop

WHERE: The Injury Clinic, 100 Fyans Street, South Geelong

COST: FREE
