STRENGTH TRAINING PROGRAMS IN GEELONG

All of the strength and conditioning programs that we put together are designed by a qualified strength coach with years of experience in the industry. At The Injury Clinic, we view strength training as being extremely advantageous when it comes to general wellbeing, performance gains and injury prevention.

Our friendly team recognises that all clients are different, and that they have unique goals, aims, strengths and weaknesses that we need to work with. That’s why we’ve avoided the one-size fits all model and instead moved towards an approach that benefits clients on a personal level.
As part of our gym As part of our gym memberships, we include strength training program design, program progressions, supervised gym times along with a non-intimidating and fun environment from where you can complete all work. What we do is all about helping clients to reach their strength goals in a way that works specifically for them.

Our friendly and knowledgeable trainers at The Injury Clinic can provide you with a strength training program in Geelong, in our purpose built gym that is located in the south of the city.

Your tailored strength training program will aid in prevention of new injuries and will give you the ability to make changes with the following:

Muscle mass: Inactivity and aging can result in declines in muscle mass. Improving muscle mass can help manage and prevent injury.

Flexibility: Our lives often aren’t conducive to maintaining flexibility. We need to be able to move well to manage and prevent injuries. Strength training and eccentric exercises have been shown to be incredibly effective in improving passive muscle length and therefore flexibility.

Bone strength: Bone health is incredibly important, and becomes increasingly important the older we get. Increasing bone density through strength training will aid in reducing the risk of fractures and other bone tissue injuries.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING PROGRAM DESIGN: WHAT TO EXPECT

Initial S&C Consult: Ben will conduct a consultation where he will ask about your strength goals and any injury history that you may have experienced. He will then undertake a process of putting together a personalised strength and conditioning program that is specific to your goals.

In this session, you will discuss your aims and spend time in the gym to assist Ben in developing a program that best suits you.

Follow-Up Programming Consult: Once your initial consult is complete, you will need to arrange for a review consult that allows your program to be completed in full, with the guidance and supervision of Ben.

After the strength and conditioning program design is finished, you will be given the option of either becoming a member at The Injury Clinic or consulting with Ben for programming and completing your strength work at another gym. Please find below further information about these two options.
