STRENGTH PERFORMANCE TRAINING PROGRAMS AT THE INJURY CLINIC
All of the strength & conditioning programs and services that we facilitate at The Injury Clinic are specially designed for you by an experienced and qualified strength coach. Strength performance training provides many advantages when it comes to injury prevention and performance gains. With this in mind, we go above and beyond to ensure that everybody has access to programs for their individual requirements. We appreciate that every client is different, and will be working towards achieving the best outcome for their event, game or competition through a tailored athletic performance training program. When working with athletes, goals are imperative and we understand that a generic, one-size fits all approach isn’t going to be beneficial. At the injury clinic we have embraced a model that benefits the individual athlete as much as possible when it comes to their training for strength performance. The Injury Clinic Geelong can help improve your training for strength performance through gym memberships that include elite strength training program design. You will also be able to access program progression options, supervised gym times along with a fun, non-threatening environment to kick your strength and conditioning goals. Sports performance training is available to all clients and aims to prepare the body and mind for the rigors of a specific sport or sporting event. This differs from injury prevention training as it pinpoints specific conditioning aimed at sports performance rather than a broader general fitness. By engaging in Strength Performance Training with The Injury Clinic, athletes can work on learning more about activating specific muscles that are relevant to their elite activity. WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINING & COACHING IN GEELONG
Initial S&C Consult: Ben will talk to you about your goals and injury history to get a clear picture of your situation. From there, he will begin the process of creating a personalised strength program that is specific to what you want to achieve when it comes to strength performance. This will involve time spent discussing everything about your aims so that Ben can develop the best possible program for you.
Follow-Up Programming Consult: After your initial consult, you will need to book in for a review that enables your program to be completed in full under the supervision and guidance of Ben. Once your sports performance training program has been designed, you will be able to purchase a membership at The Injury Clinic, or you can choose to complete your consultation with Ben at another gym. GYM MEMBERSHIP AT THE INJURY CLINIC
1. Access to The Injury Clinic Gym
You will have access to The Injury Clinic Gym during ‘Open Training’ times and have access to ‘Supervised Sessions’.
Supervised Sessions are allocated times (60min) in which you can complete your program under the supervision and guidance of Ben. During these sessions you will have the opportunity to discuss changes and progressions to your gym program; this will ensure that your program remains specific and targeted and that you are always improving.
Open Training Sessions are times in which you are able to use the clinic gym to complete your program independently; There will be other clients training, but Ben will not be present.
It is recommended that you attend at least one ‘Supervised Session’ per week. You are required to book into these sessions as they are capped to a maximum number to ensure all clients can look to Ben for assistance if required. You can book online, or call the clinic to secure your spot.
2. Monthly Review Consult
You will have the option of a 30 min 1:1 consult with Ben every 4 weeks. This is to provide an opportunity to discuss your progress, current program, re-test etc.
**Memberships are therefore inclusive of program progressions and modifications.
3. The Injury Clinic Training Singlet
You will receive a training singlet as our gift to you!
4. Access to Alter-G Treadmill
You will have access to the Alter-G Treadmill at no cost.
THE INJURY CLINIC GYM MEMBERSHIP COST
– Membership Fee: $120.00 per month
– Start-Up Fee: $110.00 (1:1 Initial Consult & 1:1 Program Design)
