Strength Coaches at The Injury Clinic provide clients with individualised strength programs to help them achieve their goals.
Strength Training can be a hugely beneficial addition to your exercise or training routine. Regardless of whether it’s your first strength program, or you’re an experienced athlete, Strength Coaches at The Injury Clinic will work with you to establish a program that is targeted, specific and goal-oriented.
STRENGTH PROGRAMMING AT THE INJURY CLINIC INCLUDES:
Strength & Conditioning Coaches at The Injury Clinic work with clients to design individualised and specific strength programs to help them achieve their goals. Whilst a gym-based program will often be recommended to achieve best outcomes, our Strength Coaches are also able to create home-based programs if this is something you believe would suit you best.
Clients have the option of training at The Injury Clinic. Alternatively, they can be programmed by S&C coaches at the clinic and attend any local gym, or home gym they wish.
**Please note: We are unable to use HICAPS for Strength & Conditioning services; However, we do encourage clients to check with their individual Private Health Insurer, as some funds will make contributions towards gym memberships.
Any questions you have can be discussed with your coach at the time of your consult.
You will have access to The Injury Clinic Training Space to complete your training with the TIC gym membership.
Those who choose to the option to pay per program but would like to have access to The Injury Clinic Training Space inclusive of Supervised Training Sessions will be charged a casual rate of $25.00 per session.
Hours of Operation
Monday – Thursday: 6am – 7pm
Friday: 6am – 6pm
*Closed Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
Supervised Training Sessions are times when a Strength Coach is present to supervise and progress your program. These session times also allow testing to be performed to monitor progress at frequent and regular intervals.
It is recommended that you attend at least one ‘Supervised Session’ per week as this allows Strength Coaches to monitor your progress and make adjustments as needed. You can book online, or call the clinic to secure your spot.
Supervised Training Session Times
6am – 7am: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri
10am – 11am: Mon, Wed
4pm – 5pm: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu
5pm – 6pm: Mon
All clients are tested using VALD Force Decks. This testing equipment allows our Strength Coaches to learn more about you and the way you move. It ensures that your program is targeted, and holds everyone accountable to improvements.
Testing is available during Supervised Training Sessions; and individual testing session will also be completed at intervals intervals as discussed with your Strength Coach. Your test results will be uploaded to your app and graphed over time.
This option includes ALL PROGRAM PROGRESSIONS. Progressions of your strength program will occur both within Supervised Training Sessions, and 1:1 Program Reviews as arranged by your Strength Coach.
All program progressions and de-load sessions will be discussed with you, and planned ahead. They will be accessible to you via the app. All program progressions are made on an individual basis to ensure that you continue to progress and improve, time frames for these are therefore not set, and can vary depending on both the individual, their response to programming and their goals.
