CHOCOLATE COVERED DATES

A delicious and natural sweet treat to have with your afternoon coffee or after dinner dessert.

Makes 12

Ingredients

  • 12 Pitted medjool dates
  • 2-3 tablespoons Natural crunchy peanut butter
  • ½-1 cup of milk/dark chocolate

Method

  • 1 Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • 2 Slice each medjool date ¾ of the way down and open it up.
  • 3 Place ½ teaspoon peanut butter into each date and then push closed.
  • 4 Melt the chocolate in a bowl until melted and smooth. Place each date into a bowl with the chocolate and toss until covered.
  • 5 Place the date onto the baking tray and repeat until all dates are covered. Place in the fridge for 20 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
