EASY ANZAC BISCUITS

A healthy and quick alternative to the traditional favourite. This will soon be in your normal rotation of snacks to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 very ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract/essence
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey

Method

  • 1 Pre-heat the oven to 180degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • 2 In a bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Add the rolled oats, vanilla extract, honey and chocolate chips. Mix well until combined.
  • 3 Place a spoonful of the mixture onto a baking tray and shape into a cookie. The cookies won’t change shape during the cooking process.
  • 4 Place in the oven for 12-15minutes or until golden.
