GREEK YOGHURT DIP

A delicious dip or side to add to dinner. Serve with seeded crackers or a variety of vegetable sticks for a high protein dip.

Ingredients

  • 1kg Natural Greek Yoghurt
  • 2 bunches chives, finely diced
  • 1 large bulb garlic
  • 2 lemons

Method

  • 1 Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees and line a baking tray
  • 2 Remove cloves of garlic and slice the top of each clove. Place onto a piece of aluminium foil and drizzle in extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper. Wrap with garlic in the foil and place into the oven for 20 minutes or until soft
  • 3 Remove the garlic from the oven and squeeze each clove out of the skin onto a chopping board. Dice the garlic into fine pieces
  • 4 In a large bowl, place the Greek yoghurt, garlic, juice and rind of 2 lemons and finely diced chives. Stir to combine
  • 5 Serve as a dip with crackers or as a side to add to lamb at dinner
