OVERNIGHT WEETBIX

Easy breakfast to make the night before, for when your in a rush in the mornings.
Overnight weetbix are a perfect way to include all 4 components in your breakfast:
– Carbohydrates (weetbix)
– Protein (yoghurt, protein powder, milk)
– Healthy fats (chia seeds, walnuts, peanut butter)
– Colour (fruit)
You can also make 2-3 containers stored in the fridge so you have breakfast sorted for a few days for those busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • BASE:
  • 2-3 weetbix, crushed
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbs chia seeds
  • TOPPINGS:
  • Choc peanut - 100g vanilla greek yoghurt, 1/2 banana sliced, 1 tbsp choc chips, 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • Berry and cinnamon - 1/4 tsp cinnamon added to base, 100g vanilla greek yoghurt, 1 tsp honey drizzled, handful of your choice of berries & 15g crushed walnuts for topping
  • Optional: 1/2 scoop protein powder added to base

Method

  • 1 1. Place crushed weet-bix and chia seeds in a container (add cinnamon or protein powder if desired)
  • 2 2. Add milk to cover the weet-bix
  • 3 3. Top with yoghurt
  • 4 4. Add preferred toppings. See examples.
  • 5 5. Set in the fridge overnight
